What a PAWsome & successful “2nd Birthday PAW-ty 2024” it was on Saturday June 8th! Stella, Mocha and Shooter are 3 pups from the same litter who were rescued by ROAR 2 years ago, and adopted locally. There was a craft market with SaltySquirrel, Roatan Made Drinks, Treasures of West Bay - Cathy Fleming, Coin Carvers, & Kaylies Reclaimed Originals, a live auction, and live music with Will, Deven and Jose. Fun was had by all – even the pups had a puppy piñata and cheeseburger cakes!
Huge shout out to Hangover Hut for doing this for the 2nd year, & for always supporting ROAR! The volunteers who organized and ran the live auction helped raise $1,263! The winner of the 50:50 graciously returned her winnings to ROAR, and Hangover Hut picked up all PayPal fees so we didn’t lose any money to administration! Thanks to the sponsors & donors who made it all possible we couldn’t have done it without all of you! And thank you to everyone who came out, spent money, and most importantly had fun with all of us and the pups! All told, $1803 was raised!
