Art Sale in Memory of Betty Gillis

Thank you to everyone who attended the Art Sale Fundraiser at Salty Dawg on Friday November 22, 2024! We raised $845, so we'd like to give a huge shout out to Joe Gillis & Betty's daughter Tracy for choosing ROAR as the beneficiary, Salty Dawg and Serve Coffee for hosting, and to the volunteers who help make these events a success! Finally, thank you to everyone who came out to shop, listen to great music, and spend money on awesome pieces of art to decorate your home & support ROAR!

This was a very special collection that Betty Gillis had collected over her years on Roatan. Betty was well loved amongst so many. The love for animals is why her husband, Joe and her daughter, Tracy thought this fundraiser would be something Betty would have wanted.

Those who knew Betty, knew that she loved to fill her home with lovely art work from artists on the island. Her collection will captivate many.
